Resident Quranic Arabic Instructor
Tazeen Ayub teaches Arabic at various colleges and universities in the Detroit area including Henry Ford Community College and University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. During undergrad she studied abroad in Cairo where she obtained a proficiency in Arabic language, Tajwid, and Quranic studies. When she returned from her travels she began and completed her Masters in Arabic at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor with a concentration in teaching Arabic as a Foreign language while simultaneously teaching introductory Arabic courses at the University. Since then Tazeen has worked and taught with many programs including the Summer Arabic Program in Dearborn, Michigan State University's Startalk Program which trains Arabic teachers in the greater Detroit area, and is now the Arabic Director and instructor for Unity Center's Saturday Arabic Program for high school students. Ustadha Tazeen completed a Fawakih Arabic training certificate and now joins the teaching team in the Fawakih Michigan chapter.
