Mission: To help nurture students’ understanding in Prophetic Hadith in order for them to increase in God-consciousness and social responsibility, insha Allah.

Description: The Fawakih Prophetic Eloquence Program caters to students wishing to build a deeper understanding of the Prophetic Language, particularly Hadith. Through Arabic language practice, and Hadith analysis and methodology, the students spend 28-days immersing themselves in the study of the Hadith sciences. In addition to the challenging academic program, the students also have opportunity to build lasting relationships, develop leaderships skills, and implement the hadith through community projects.

Subjects: Arabic, Hadith Analysis and Methodology, Prophetic Supplications, & Proactive Implementation of Hadith

Arabic Levels: Beginner (0-1 years), Intermediate (1-2 years)

Requirements:

  • At least 16 years old (High School students must demonstrate exceptional maturity)
  • Online application submitted by deadline and successful interview

What the Fawakih Intensive aims to provide the students:

  • Grounding in Arabic through the SunniPath Arabic curriculum coupled with continued grammar and vocabulary lessons. 
  • Analysis of Nawawi’s Forty Hadith through understanding the deep nature of the Arabic language vis-à-vis learning grammar, vocabulary, and eloquence of the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.
  • Grasp of the context, meaning, and a deeper understanding of the hadith in which it was said or done.  
  • Platform for discussion of the larger implications the sayings & actions of the prophet,  peace & blessings be upon him, have on Muslim life and the world at large while applying the principles learnt from these hadith onto problems and challenges faced by the community.
