Categories of Instructors |
The Fawakih Intensive will consist of 3 categories of instructors:
"Technical Expert": What we mean by the "Technical" expert is the instructor that has deep and specific knowledge of the science. For example, the instructors for Recitation (Tajweed), Grammar (Nahoo), Morphology (Sarf), and Rhetoric (Balagha) will be of this disposition. They will have expertise over structuring and teaching a science or a specific text.
"Analytical Expert": This category of instructor will be one that critically analyzes the science and the text. He or she will have a vast knowledge base in all the Islamic sciences and thus will be able to highlight the important issues in regards to the science.
"Big Picture Expert": Aiming at giving the students a direction-setting perspective, the "Big Picture" instructor's objective is to extrapolate subtle meanings and then to contextualize their application in a practical manner.
